If you have an XML schema as target schema, you can export the transformed instances associated with the schema's types to a XML file.
When exporting the transformed data, choose XML (Custom root element) as export format:
As the XML schema doesn't specify what root element a corresponding XML data file should have, you have to select an element manually. Usually this should be a container element, designed to hold a collection of instances of certain types.
When writing the transformed data, HALE will try to find a valid XML path to write each of the transformed instances. If there are geometry objects contained in an instance, they are written as a GML geometry if possible.
For the export as XML there is also the possibility to validate the written result, if it completely matches the specification of the associated XML schemas.
